Bright red iridescent glass was fused with bits and pieces of red, orange, yellow and darker amber in the first stage of creating this leaf shaped dish. Then by slowly heating the glass to allow it to take the shape of a mold the finished piece emerged.
A very pretty decorative piece, it measures 6 1/2 inches long by 3 3/4 inches wide, nearly 17 cm by nearly 10 cm.
The inside of the dish shows the iridescence of the glass, but the inside of the dish is not smooth and has a rough texture to it.
