STRIPPED ANIMAL PRINT QUILT measures 66" X 80" to fit a twin/twin XL/double or queen coverlet/throw" COUCH THROW/LAP SIZED Color combination is beautiful and features many gorgeous, exotic fabrics, WITH giraffe, leopard and African print fabrics. Surrounding the layered strips is an off white fabric. Then there is an inner border of solid brown fabric, then large outer border in beautiful giraffe print. This quilt consists of 3 layers, the pieced top, the inner batting, and the back. see picture # 5. Zoom in to see the gorgeous quilting, which was professionally quilted by our friend, Anita Blair of Cabin Creek Quilts of Shelton, WA. The 3 layers are quilted together and then bound by an outer binding in brown fabric. The binding is doubled with mitered corners and machine sewn for strength and durability. This quilt is shown on the top of a queen sized bed, and as you can see it totally covers the top, so could be used also as a double or queen coverlet. This quilt is made of "quilt shop" quality 100% cotton batik fabrics . The center layer ( batting is Warm and Natural, a very good quality 80% cotton, 20% polyester blend, which will hold up to many washings.) Zoom in on pictures to get a close up view of the quilt. We love picking the patterns and then matching the fabrics and colors to them, and can never wait to see how it is going to come out. So easy to take care of, just wash and dry as you would for any quality fabrics, cold or warm wash, line dry or machine dry on low for that soft puffy look. Don't use bleach, or hot water, but you can use Spray and Wash.
