OOAK (One of a Kind) GORGEOUS BATIK LOG CABIN STYLE quilt measures appx 61" X 80". Stunning shades of bluesfrom very light to very dark navy, and a little very light lavender and white. Can be used as a throw for your sofa, for a daybed, bunk, lap quilt, or twin coverlet. Handmade. Professionally quilted in a twirly surf design shown in picture #4 above.. Quilt top has two borders. The inner border is a gorgeous dark navy batik, and the outer border is the ocean plants in a stunning blue, periwinkle navy pattern .The quilt is made of excellent quilt shop quality 100% cotton batik fabrics . The solid color periwinkle blue binding has mitered corners, is doubled and machine sewn for durability. The batting is Warm and Natural cotton/poly 80/20 mixture. What a wonderful OOAK quilt for a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or bridal shower gift, Christmas or Mother's Day gift.
We've been making quilts for over 25 years and absolutely love it, and we're NOT just talking about the buying the fabric part either. We've made over 300 quilts of all sizes. We love picking the patterns and then matching the fabrics and colors to them, and can never wait to see how it is going to come out. Many of our buyers have said how much prettier they are in person. Our quilts are just as beautiful and well made as quilts that sell for much more. We've kept our prices very reasonable, generally only enough to cover costs so that more people will know the joy of owning their own beautiful, keepsake quilt to hand down.
So easy to take care of, just wash and dry as you would for any quality fabrics, cold or warm wash, line dry or machine dry on low for that soft puffy look. Don't use bleach, or hot water, but you can use Spray and Wash.
