NEW KING/QUEEN BATIK CARPENTER'S STAR QUILT measures appx 102" X 103" Made with quilt shop quality 100% cotton fabrics in purples and whites, batiks and patterned and solid fabrics. This huge quilt is shown on a queen sized bed so I had to fold it back to show all the features. This quilt consists of three layers; The TRIPLE PIECED star top, the inner batting and the back. The back repeats the solid lavender used in front of the quilt (see picture # 5), Color combination is beautiful. The 3 tiered star on the front of the quilt is bordered first by the lighter lavender, then by the darker lavender with black patterned fabric, and finally by a darker purple and blue batik patterned fabric which surround the whole quilt. This quilt was professionally long arm quilted by our friend and etsy shop owner, Olga Neeman, in an intricate feathered quilting design binding the 3 layers together,. The extensive quilting makes this quilt a light/medium weight quilt. Zoom in on picture #5 to get a closer look at this beautiful quilting. Please check measurements of the quilt to make sure it fits your needs. This quilt is handmade and has its own creative imperfections. WILL BE MAILED PRIORITY MAIL which is normally delivered within two days but , these days. but since the pandemic and election and political mail is so heavy now, it could take closer to a week to arrive.
The binding (all around the outside of the quilt, is a solid dark purple fabric and is doubled, with mitered corners, and machine sewn for durability. The center layer ( batting) is HOBBES PREMIUM QUALITY, 80% cotton and 20% polyester. What a wonderful GIFT for a birthday, wedding, anniversary, house warming or Christmas or for any batik lover and is OOAK (One of a Kind) AS THE FABRIC COMBINATION IN EACH QUILT DIFFERS. It will become a keepsake heirloom to pass down for you or the recipient for many years.

So easy to take care of, just wash and dry as you would for any quality fabrics, cold or warm wash, line dry or machine dry on low for that soft puffy look. Don't use bleach, or hot water, but you can use Spray and Wash.
