New Pinwheel yellow and blue French Country Quilt shown on a queen sized bed. Could be a XL Twin, Double/Full Sized Quilt, or as a Quiltlet on a queen sized mattress. It measures 85 " X 91" and covers a queen size mattress (and mine is quite deep) with appx 7-9 inches on overhang on top bottom and sides. See picture #3 for side overhang (on my queen bed. Color combination is beautiful and features many gorgeous fabrics. Zoom in to see the quilting on the last picture, which shows the quilt folded back. in solid delft blue color. Includes beautiful floral, green leafs, TULIPS and DAFFODILS This quilt was professionally long arm quilted by our friend, Anita Blair of Cabin Creek Quilts of Shelton, WA in a swirly design. Please check measurements to make sure it fits your needs. This quilt is handmade and has its own creative imperfections. This quilt is made of "quilt shop" quality 100% cotton. The center pattern of the quilt is outlined by a royal blue tiny floral inner border, and then the main fabric is repeated on the outside border. The binding uses the same royal blue floral fabric, is doubled, with mitered corners, machine sewn for durability. The center layer ( batting) is Warm and Natural, a very good quality 80% cotton, 20% polyester blend, which will hold up to many washings, Zoom in on pictures to get a close up view of the quilt. What a wonderful GIFT for a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or house warming ..zny garden lover, and especially for your mother, aunt or grandmother. It will become a keepsake heriloom to pass down for you or the recipient for many years. This quilt is so stunning we hated to post it for sale, but we each have so many favorites we've kept, so......
We've been making quilts for over 25 years and absolutely love it, and we're NOT just talking about the buying the fabric part either. We've made over 400 quilts of all sizes. We love picking the patterns and then matching the fabrics and colors to them, and can never wait to see how it is going to come out. So easy to take care of, just wash and dry as you would for any quality fabrics, cold or warm wash, line dry or machine dry on low for that soft puffy look. Don't use bleach, or hot water, but you can use Spray and Wash.
