Three different textures of stained glass have been combined in the creation of this round suncatcher. The center focal point is a clear round prismatic glass bevel. The textures surrounding the bevel is somewhat bumpy that sparkles with backlight and also artificial lighting. The clear and blue making up the body of the design is wavy waterglass with a light flowing texture. The outlying pieces a bumpy textured glass. Beautiful Wissmach and Spectrum glass.
This custom suncatcher will measure just under 6 inches diameter.
All of the glass pieces have been hand cut and shaped to fit. Next, they are all wrapped with copper foil then soldered together. Wrapped with a type of lead framing with loops soldered to the back side of the piece at 10 oçlock and at 2 oçlock.
