Iridescent clear glass strips given texture by the heat of a kiln then looped together using salvaged copper wire. Each loop is hand soldered closed and is then attached to an eastern red cedar stick that I've shaved by hand. The glass appears blueish in some light while appearing purple and gold against dark backgrounds. Makes for a unique suncatcher, wall hanging and a wind chime that makes light gentle sounds.
Measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 19 inches long. The measurement from the wood to the bottom of the glass is
about 13 inchess long.
