This bracelet features 8 carats of 2-4 mm smooth Emerald rondelles along with fine silver Karen Hill Tribe beads and a sterling silver clasp and components.
As the gem of spring, Emerald is the perfect choice as the birthstone for the month of May.
It’s also the gem of the twentieth and thirty-fifth wedding anniversaries.
In honor of the 20th wedding anniversary, I’ve placed 20 Emerald beads in this design, one Emerald for each year of marriage.
Emerald is the green to greenish blue variety of beryl, a mineral species that also includes aquamarine as well as beryls in other colors.
Emeralds are mined in many locations around the world but the most notable emeralds are found in Columbia, Brazil and Zambia. These particular Emeralds were mined in Zambia. Zambian emeralds have a slightly blueish green color which resembles emeralds from Columbia.
