Bright handsome red Northern Cardinal pictured on a branch with red berries and green leaves. This unique hanging glass panel measures 13 3/4 inches wide by 11 1/2 inches tall.
The center glass panel has been created in a kiln fusing glass pieces and powdered glass and paint together. Next I matched colors for the outer border to match those within the center design, cut and fit them together. Copper foil was wrapped around each piece and all the glass parts were then soldered together. Framed with zinc for strength and a finished look. A loop has been soldered to both upper corners and chain will be included for hanging. Finished with black patina and polished with carnuba wax.
