Fantastic sounding glass wind chimes made from cobalt blue beer bottles that I found, cleaned, cut and then kilnformed into loops and textured glass strips. The glass is attached to rescued bleached out Buffalo River driftwood using tinned copper wire. Beautiful outdoors or indoors as a suncatcher.
The driftwood measures 13 inches wide, the overall measurement is 20 inches long but can be shortened. For my metric customers 33 cm wide by 51 cm long.
The loops were cut from sliced bottles then fused to a flat circle, the strips cut from bottle sides then given texture using fiber paper fusing in the kiln.
