This tortoiseshell cat face suncatcher has been constructed using deep dark chocolate brown glass along with a lighter colored amber brown glass. The glowing eyes are dark golden amber glass gems with hand painted pupils.
The kitty measures 5 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches tall, Nearly 13 cm wide by 11 cm tall. Looks best hanging in a window, with a little bit of sun behind it the glass and especially the eyes really glow.
Hand crafted in the Tiffany method using glass, copper foil and solder. The cat is then wrapped with a type of lead frame for strength. The metals have been darkened using black patina. Black highlights added. Chain will be included for hanging.
