Hand painted purple iris with against a background of metallic gold and copper. The glass layers fully fused in a kiln then allowed to cool at a controlled rate for durability. Then returned to the kiln and reheated in a mold to allow the sides to gently slope.
Measures 5 inches square, 12.5 cm.
