Glass pieces cut and fit mosaic style then fired in a kiln. I then filled in all the voids between the pieces and fired again. The third session in the kiln involved placing the fused glass disc on top of a bowl mold, heated to allow it to take the shape and then cooled very slowly to allow the glass molecules to realign and give the completed piece strength.
Measures 8 1/2 inches diameter at the opening, the base measures 4 3/4 inches wide at 2 inches tall. 22 cm at the opening with a 12 cm base by 5 cm tall. Food safe, hand wash only.
