Adorable fused glass orange tabby cat face trinket dish. A lovely accent piece for the cat lover in your life.
Multiple layers of glass and powdered glass were fused together. Subsequent layers of glass were added and the cat fired in a kiln multiple times. Finally, the face was slumped into a bowl mold, that is the glass was heated at a slow controlled rate to make the glass soft enough to take the shape of a shallow dish.
Measures 5 1/2 inches wide by 5 inches tall, nearly 14 cm by 13 cm.
