Hand crafted one of a kind fused glass depiction of a Scarlet Tanager, a lovely migrant found in the eastern woodlands during the bird's breeding season. I chose to keep the texture of the glass pieces during the fusing process.
The glass tile has been attached to the top of the lined, cherry finished wood box.
The tile itself measures 6 inches tall by 6 inched wide, just over 15 cm. The box measures 6 3/4 inches long by wide at 3 inches tall, 17 cm square by 8 cm tall.
