Hand painted honey bees adorn the four sides of this golden amber stained glass box that is versatile as a decorative piece on its own but also makes a great candle holder. Glass paint used to paint the bees, the four sides were then fused in the kiln to cure the paint. The amber glass is iridescent on the inside with a clear textured glass bottom. Decorative solder technique adds additional interest. The solder chemically darkened with black patina.
Measures 3 inches square at the base, 4 inches at the opening, 3 inches tall outside measurement, 7.5 cm base, 10 cm square opening just over 7 cm tall.
