Two white calla lily flowers are featured in this oval shaped stained glass suncatcher. This piece measures 11 inches tall by 10 inches wide, 28cm by approximately 25cm.
Handcrafted using dense white glass along with yellow glass for the flowers and both light and dark green glass for the leaves and stems. The background is a combination of three textures of deep rich cobalt blue stained glass.
All of the pieces of glass have been cut by hand then shaped to fit like a puzzle. Each piece is then wrapped with copper foil and both sides soldered together. A type of lead channel frame has been wrapped around the entire piece to give it strength, stability and a finished look. Two loops soldered to the back and chain will be included for hanging. The solder and lead have been darkened chemically with black patina to really accentuate the solder lines.
